You really have to see this band to appreciate them. I never missed them in the D.C./Hampton area (and various other venures across our fair nation) over the next 7 years until their end. This show rocked. Bruce Hornsby joined them for Sugaree and a few other songs. The next night rocked too, with the rain arriving after, "Looks Like Rain," making a swamp of the Redskins' field. I give this show a 4 since 5's shouldn't be given out unless the show is extraordinary. Audience tapes are fun, but I'd like to hear this as well via soundboard someday. I remember specifically the Cassidy being GREAT, and pretty out-there. We were cruising around the concourse,and I remember being lost in the second jam of Cassidy, until they came back to the riff ( one of those " oh yeah, THAT'S what they were playing moments ).You have to know, it seemed like everyone in the stadium was dosed that night.Also, check out the Eyes. It was pretty smokin' ,too. All in all, considering the quality of the playing,and the quality of the scene,it's a SOLID 4 star show.
